Health Canada Recognizes IonCleanse® System as Non-Medical Device – What This Means

AMD’S IonCleanse® system recently received recognition as a non-medical device from Health Canada’s Medical Devices Bureau. Click here to see a copy. This recognition is important because it ensures that practitioners in Canada who use their IonCleanse® machines according to our instructional guidelines can do so without fear of any government interference.

Health Canada is Canada’s counterpart to the US FDA and similarly evaluates and regulates the claims of health devices on the market. AMD works constantly with our legal team to comply with US and international standards. We always caution IonCleanse® system users to comply with regulations that prohibit medical claims of diagnosing, curing, preventing, or treating any disease or ailment with a non-medical device.
