Refer-a-Friend Donation Matching Program (beta)

AMD supports a variety of charities throughout the year. To see if our customers might like to add their contributions to these organizations, we have created our Refer-a-Friend Donation Matching program. This program will run through the end of 2018 as we evaluate interest in it. If you are not familiar with our Refer-a-Friend program, please see this article.

How it works

A charity is selected for each quarter of the year. When your referral credit comes due, you now have the option to donate all or part of it to that quarter’s charity. AMD will match 100% of your donation up to $100. AMD ownership has selected charities for the remaining quarters of this year (April-June, July-September, and October-December). These charities reflect values that closely align with those of AMD and the Moroney family.

The charities selected for the remainder of 2018 are:

Q2 (April – June)

TACA – Talk About Curing Autism
TACA is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting families affected by autism. TACA helps strengthen the autism community by connecting families to professionals who can help them, especially aiming to shorten the time between initial diagnosis and effective treatment. Through TACA, families share stories and information that help improve the quality of life for their loved one with autism.

Q3 (July – September)

ASPCA – American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
The Moroneys are an animal loving family for sure! ASPCA has been on their personal donation lists for many years. As the name indicates, ASPCA was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment. ASPCA is a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and boasts more than 2 million supporters across the country.

Q4 (October – December)

GR – Generation Rescue
GR is dedicated to recovery for children with autism spectrum disorders. GR provides guidance and support for medical treatment to improve the quality of life for the children of families in need.

Accountability

At the end of each quarter, AMD will provide an accounting of the total funds donated by our customers along with AMD’s matching contribution.We hope our customers find this program valuable and look forward to making it a permanent addition to our commitment to worthy organizations.
